Board Member

Jane McGovern is a retired Elementary Education Teacher and Principal with 25 years of experience working with youth. During her accomplished tenure she was a 3 time recipient of the New Jersey Governor’s Teacher’s Recognition Award. She also served as a church lector for 14 years and became a Universal Life Church Minister in 2018. Her greatest blessing is her family. Jane has been married to her Husband for 46 years and has three children and 5 wonderful grandchildren. In addition to being with them, Jane spends a majority of her time volunteering for those in need. Jane is a woman with many gifts and interests. When not with family or volunteering, you can often find her leading or participating in a Book Club or meditative practice. Jane has a special interest surrounding practices that foster equity in the workplace as well. Mind Cafe is honored to have her thoughtful participation on our Board of Trustees.
