Facilitator

Jen Kaminski has a B.S. degree in Special Education from the Pennsylvania State University, a M.A. in Reading Education from Rowan University, and is a certified reading specialist. She worked as a special education teacher and a reading specialist for many years. Active in her community, Jen volunteers at her church and through the Penn State Alumni Association with several programs that help children and adults who are homeless or live in impoverished or at-risk neighborhoods. At church, Jen also serves on the Reconciling and Equity & Social Justice committees because she recognizes the work that needs to be done to make things more equitable for all. When her two daughters were young, Jen was also a Girl Scout leader and Sunday School teacher. Back in high school, she loved her experience participating in a youth group and later led the same youth group while in college. Jen continues to have a passion for supporting youth and building a stronger community. She enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family and her dog, Fenway
